Orders
To order products, request samples, inquire about pricing or the status of your order, please call 800.221.1540, contact your sales representative or use our contact form.

Prices

Published prices for standard line products are your net cost. Most items are shipped F.O.B. Secaucus, New Jersey. Prices for custom digitally printed products and Digital Studio products are quoted F.O.B. Portland, Maine. Orders are shipped prepaid freight. All shipping and handling charges and applicable sales tax will be added to your invoice unless the order is shipping on the purchaser’s shipping account.

Reserves
Reserves may be placed to hold product stock for a maximum of one week pending a future order.

Terms of Sale
Terms of sale for new accounts are proforma. Existing customers may request N30 credit terms (subject to credit approval). Custom orders require a 50% deposit. Applicable sales taxes are charged based on the final destination of the product and a resale/exempt certificate is on file for said state.
Custom made products are sold on a non-cancelable, non-returnable basis. Please contact your sales representative if you need clarification.
Customer is responsible for inspecting materials prior to installation. Claims for damaged materials that have been installed may not be honored.
It is against Designtex policy to accept claims for any labor charges.
It is the customer’s responsibility to determine code compliance confirmation if a product is ultimately used in a way other than it was originally intended by Designtex (i.e. upholstery fabric used as a wallcovering).
Overages of 10-35% are applicable on all custom product, discontinued product and orders that are processed with performance enhancement treatments.
A standard 35% restocking charge will be applicable to all cancellations and returns. See more information under “returns”.

Discontinued Products
Discontinued products may be available for immediate shipment or may be ordered if appropriate minimums are met and the construction is still available.
Please verify new pricing and minimum order requirements with your Designtex Sales Representative.
No returns will be accepted on discontinued products.

Returns
All requests for return authorization should be directed to your Designtex Sales Representative.
No returns will be accepted without a written authorization.
Request for returns must be received within 30 days of invoice
Wallcovering: only full, uncut rolls will be considered for return and credit.
Textiles: under no circumstances will cuts of less than 10 continuous yards be accepted for return.
3M DI-NOC: orders of non-Quick Ship products and any partial rolls are non-cancellable and non-returnable.
Custom Orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable. Changes are subject to fees based on work completed.

Warranty

Artwork

Design estimates are based on the information provided to Designtex at the time of submission. Up to three revisions of the initial design concept presented for approval are included. A revision is defined as any change(s) to the design requested after receiving a version for approval. Any changes requested after receiving a revised version for approval will count as another revision. Changes being requested outside the original design scope will require a new estimate.

Designtex is prohibited from printing any materials that are the subject of, or which infringe upon, any patent, trademark, trade name, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, moral right or other intellectual property right of another person or entity. By providing files (“Content”) to Designtex, you, the customer, are confirming you own or have purchased usage rights which allows Designtex to use the Content as contemplated hereunder. You represent and warrant that you have the right, power, and authority to direct us to use your Content to generate alternative designs. To the extent that your Content may be copyrightable, you represent and warrant, that you are the owner of all copyright rights to such Content and that we may exercise the rights to your Content granted hereunder without any liability or obligation for any payment. You will indemnify and hold Designtex harmless against any expense (including attorneys’ fees), loss, claim, damage or penalty not caused by us and arising out of or in connection with any breach by you of this provision. You maintain all your ownership rights in any Content you submit to us. You grant us a royalty-free, sub-licensable, transferable, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use such Content, in whole or in part, in connection with the services we are providing to you hereunder.

Artwork developed by Designtex is only for production by Designtex Custom Digital Printing, unless Designtex has granted permission otherwise. Customer owns image rights to final artwork per completion of project. Designtex is granted rights and may use artwork in any promotional usage they choose without any prior permission. Designtex retains final artwork files created for the project. Files can be provided to the customer for additional fee upon request.
